Design: Methods and Media

Involving technologies into the academia setting is initially not an easy task for a traditionally trained educator.  Within this course, we will provide you with the tools to assist you in incorporating technology aspects such as iclickers into your educational session.

In traditional classroom settings, the way an educator can determine whether or not a student is absorbing and comprehending the information,  is by providing formal testing and quizzes...

But with the use of technologies, specifically the iclicker, students and educators alike can get instant feedback about the lecture being given.  In a traditional classroom, students may become bored and lose interest.

Lose Interest???  That never happens in MY class!!!

Have you ever seen this in your class??

Well, maybe once or twice...  But what is a clicker?

An overall view...

Now that I understand the idea of a iclicker, is it really useful?  Does it really work?

The answer is in this link

Interesting....  But how do I set it up?

Is it really that simple?

YES IT IS....

I see the research, I know more about it...  But ultimately, will it really work?

So decide...  Which classroom do you want???

Or...

With the utilization of the iclicker, you...

- Get instant feedback

- Keep students engaged

- Have opportunities to open your classroom to an entire new way of learning
